When you go to redeem at the front desk, you’ll be asked to sign up for a breakfast or lunch where they will try to sell you on a travel membership. They will give you resort credits (totaling $200) but it is basically useless - $10 off a bottle of wine, $20 at the spa, etc. A majority of the staff members we encountered were not the friendliest. The room itself was spacious and good for families (Premium Pool View) Cons: The service is poor. Pros: The family pool was nice and clean with a lazy river. Overall, our trip got better and better each day.… (No antibacterial cream) Other staff that stood out to us were Genesis, Isabelle, Abraham, because they were helpful, friendly, encouraging, proactive, personal and always smiling. ![]() They were generous with supplies but FA kits were not well stocked. She helped lifeguards with English to help CC us. When my son got hurt in ocean, THERESA at beach towel service who always had a smile and was very approachable. NELLI at adult pool was also very friendly and attentive and took great care of us all week and checked on us often. ANJI (Angie) in preferred beach service was so friendly, complimentary, always had a smile and ready for a dance party on the beach! Would have enjoyed her area more but again couldn’t stand the constant interruptions from the annoying beach peddlers. Goes above and beyond to make your trip a good one. He prides himself on his repeat and return visitors. Our butler, JUANITO who has a very enthusiastic personality, always respectful and well mannered. We heard comments of other guests and not all are the same. Good news is the butlers, pool staff and cleaning staff are amazing! What they do have (for preferred members and their guests) is a butler service that provides you a single point of contact for entire stay. Sometimes 10 or 10:30 and even one day at 11am! All service in general and many times concierge and front desk don’t answer phone. Even water park sign says opens at 9 am but really opens when the workers feel like it. Upon arrival, resort staff could be more proactive to inform you on how to hail a golf cart when needed or navigate the activities, who to book non motorized water sports with, etc. They didn’t stop till we got upset which is not how you want to feel when you are here. I love supporting locals but some are off putting, pushy and harass you constantly. Resort could do more to keep them from approaching without permission. The staff upon arrival (with the coupons) wastes more than 5 min of your time and we found it very difficult to enjoy the beach at all which is what we came for due to all the aggressive solicitors and resort doesn’t protect you from it. Great resort but doesn’t have ANY of the complimentary amenities other resorts offer UVC members (laundry svc in Zoetry, 20 min complimentary massage, hydrotherapy circuit, free reservation of Bali beds).
